Dr. Navin has served patients for more than 25 years. Seeing hundreds of patients each year, he has earned a reputation for professional, compassionate care in a friendly environment. He is widely respected and beloved by his patients, known for his kindness, honesty, and warm smile. As an active member of the dental community, he continually seeks to expand his education as well as share his knowledge with colleagues. He maintains membership in many different professional organizations, including the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, the Indian Orthodontic Society, and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Dr. Navin Ratra graduated from a Dental Surgery program in Bangalore, India. He went on to achieve an Orthodontics master’s degree in Manipal, India. Ten years later he completed a second fellowship program in England, where he earned another diploma in Oral Surgery.
Beyond serving patients, he loves to listen to music including 60s-80s rock or classical Indian music. He also enjoys gardening, soccer, exercising, aeromodelling, barbeques, and especially spending time with family.

As a clinician, Dr. Nakul places a strong emphasis on providing his clients WITH dental education, and involves his clients to customize treatment plans for their dental care. His approach to dentistry is based on comprehensive, conservative and highly aesthetic dentistry using the latest techniques and technology. He regularly attends the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry conventions, and travels throughout North America to attend continuous education courses in search of excellence in his field.
